Gundam Reconguista in G
The Universal Century, with its history of colonization and wars, passes into posterity, and time flows on.
Mankind enters a new age of seemingly endless peace and prosperity called the "Regild Century."
The year is R.C. 1014. The Capital Tower, an orbital elevator, connects earth and space. Due to its role in supplying Earth's power by transferring Photon Batteries from space, it is worshiped with a religious fervor. Bellri Zenam, a cadet in the Capital Guard formed to protect Capital Tower, is participating in his first non-simulated exercise when he is attacked by the powerful but unaffiliated "G-Self" mobile suit. He manages to capture the G-Self while piloting a "Recten" maintenance mobile suit; however, seeing the G-Self's pilot, a young space pirate named Aida Rayhunton, stirs something within him, as does the G-Self which he was sure he'd never seen before. Why does the G-Self accept Bellri as a pilot?
Aida's mission to attack Capital Tower. Bellri's destiny as a chosen pilot of the G-Self. The truth which will shake the Regild Century.
It was all the beginning of the Reconguista.
The year 2071 A.D. That future is now. Driven out of their terrestrial eden, humanity chose the stars as the final frontier. With the section-by-section collapse of the former nations a mixed jumble of races and peoples came. They spread to the stars, taking with them the now confused concepts of freedom, violence, illegality and love, where new rules and a new generation of outlaws came into being. People referred to them as Cowboys.
Meet Spike and Jet, a drifter and a retired cyborg cop who have started a bounty hunting operation. In the converted ship The Bebop, Spike and Jet search the galaxy for criminals with bounties on their heads. They meet a lot of unusual characters, including the unusually intelligent dog, Ein, and the voluptuous and vexing femme fatale, Faye Valentine.
The end is near. After obliterating a majority of the Moon, an incredibly powerful alien being has announced his intention to do the same thing to the Earth in a year's time. Casually brushing aside the deadliest weapons at humanity's disposal, the octopod life form proffered a strange deal: Make him the teacher of Kunugigaoka School's troubled Class 3-E, and he will permit the students to make attempts on his life until the deadline. But what can a mere two-dozen middle-schoolers do in the face of such an unspeakably powerful being? Koro-Sensei is devilishly cunning, nigh invincible, and worst of all... he's the best teacher they've ever had!
Kenji Kazama is a self-styled delinquent gang leader looking to solidify his street cred. Unfortunately for him, his first targets for intimidation happen to be the weird girls of the Game Creation Club, who are quick to force him into joining up with them instead. Being caught up in the day-to-day misadventures of four nerdy girls has forced Kenji to realize whatever passed for normalcy in his life is pretty much over.

In 2010, the Britannian Empire enslaved Japan using powerful mecha known as Knightmares; in the aftermath Japan was renamed Area 11, and its people began a hard and terrible existence. Lelouch, a Britannian student living in Area 11, has grown up hating the Empire and everything it stands for. One day, in the middle of a terrorist attack, Lelouch meets a mysterious girl who grants him the ability to control minds. Can he use his new power to fight for freedom, or will his hatred twist his good intentions into mindless acts of vengeance? This anime has a little bit of everything; robots, romance, action etc., etc. It has a lot of plot twists and hooks you from the very beginning even if your not into mecha anime. The characters are written very well and are even sometimes amusing. Overall, I think this anime has something for everyone. If your interested, there is also a second season, which is very good as well.
